Most of our group is 30+ When the topic came up at my gaming table, my response was "If anyone here is cheating at this age, we're not going to be able to stop them now."
As many bad rolls as happen at our table, if there's any cheatin' going on, these guys just don't know how to do it. I mostly roll behind my screen and keep the dice as they fall, good or bad. On occasion during a big combat, I'll come from behind the screen with a handful of d20's and roll em' in the open.(They think there is fudging in their favor going on behind the screen, so they kind of groan when I come out to roll in the open)
In my younger days, I went so far as to roll many d6's 100 times each and record the rolls, and find the die with the highest average roll(numbering each). The combined stat rolls, while using them to roll up characters, didn't seem to change much with the averaged die. But to go out and buy fudged die with the intent of using in the game? Never.
