(Wauwatosa, WI, June 27, 2002)- Tyranny Games has sold out of The End: Lost Souls Edition (d20) limited edition with the black faux leather cover! We would like to thank everyone who purchased a copy. The massive outpouring of support for The End has been wonderful. If you have not purchased a copy
yet, don’t worry, more copies are now available. The second generation limited edition books are identical to the black version in all respects except that the cover is maroon and gold (faux maroon leather with gold embossing). For those who still want the black covers, rumor has it that some could be available for sale at Origins in the Citizen Games booth
(bless their lost souls) and at Gen Con, in our booth! Also, watch the signs for our upcoming The End product line releases: The Boston Massacre (August), The Dogs of War: The Washington D.C. Sourcebook (August), Salvation’s Tears (October), and The Dark Arts (2003).
We attribute much of our success to recent interest in the Biblical
Apocalypse genre. For example, Time Magazine’s latest issue is devoted to the Apocalypse — the signs are there to see!
For those who have not yet encountered The End, it is role playing game set in the post biblical apocalypse era. The original The End was known for its groundbreaking role as the first post-apocalypse role-playing game based on
the Book of Revelations. It received critical acclaim for its bleak setting and creative background material. The End promises to challenge the d20 system conventions with 300+ faux leather bound pages of realistic injury effects, achievement-base experience, and a single starting class: the Meek.
