I don't mind Drizzt (was a fan as a kid) but I just don't like the look of the mini that much. He looks kind of bulky which seems odd.

"No, no... Drizz't is the dark-coloured one to the right!"

I like the starter minis. I don't know if much has been made of the fact that they correspond exactly (except for Drzzt obviously) to the five pregens in the D&D Starter Set.

Also interesting that most of them are female. There's been plenty of male figures, so this is great.

I have to agree, based on the ones I saw in my FLGS. They look nothing like the promo pics, very low quality painting, with blobs of paint on faces, etc. Not going to buy these, maybe just the dragons.

I am in for these... As an old school miniature painter, I am alright will "fixing" these up... The hobgoblins look great to me. They are the only thing that I do not have in any great numbers... Orcs... check! Goblins.... Check! Hobgoblins... um... I have like one... these are must buys for me...

The dragons are also must buys... they look very nice... a little dry brush and maybe a wash... good to go..

Thought I would share some thoughts, picked a few boosters at mt FLGS and they are really nice. Fell a bit heavier and sturdier than previous WotC sets from the past. Never bought Pathfinder minis didn't like some of the concept art but heard they were good too. Got the hobgoblin fighter looks very nice and the dragons all look beautiful, oddly my favorite was the pegasus, just looked nice and clean. Overall impression was was very good and will likely get a case in a week or so if they are still available online. I saw on a miniature site pre sales for an Icons of the Realms Cultists booster coming, next set maybe? Can't find further info if any knows more, release dates or anything please share.

Should of dug more before posting, apparently the Tyranny of the Dragon Hoard Cultists are from Gale Force 9, just visited their site. A set of unpainted miniatures that correspond to the major villains of the story. I might just have to pull out my old set of tools and paint these guys up. Would be a great time when running the AP.
