D&D 5E [Tyranny Of Dragons] What character are you playing?

They do these all the time on Paizo.com with their adventure paths but I havn't been able to find on here. So, who are you playing in this Campaign?

Myself, I am playing Morn Amblecrown a human Paladin of Bahamut who joined and excelled in the Neverwinter guard before becoming a paladin. When he heard that his friend Talis was kidnapped by a dragon cult, he rushed to save her.

Starting out it will look like he is going to take the oath of justice, but as he sees the horrors of the dragon cult ill send him avenging instead. My plan all along, but none of my fellow players will see it coming.

EDIT: I wanna clarify that Morn will talk to his companions that once he saves his friend Talis that he will return to Neverwinter to help uphold justice. My character has every reason to to become a Paladin with the oath of Justice but somewhere along the trip to level three that will all change.

I've not made my final decision yet, but right now it looks like I will be playing Aleena of Lathander, a human cleric. Aleena was born a peasant (i.e. folk hero background), but when she started working divine "miracles," she was sent to the nearest temple for formal training. Not particularly erudite, she took more to hitting undead (and other enemies of the faith) with her mace than to prayer or religious study. Eventually, she was noticed by the local lord and raised to the rank of battle-chaplain. Training with her lord's knights, Aleena picked up the Weapon Mastery. So now, despite her common birth, Aleena is as comfortable fighting with flail, heavy crossbow, longsword or lance as any knight.

I'm modifying an old character of mine, actually. The original Thorne was a con-artist and thief, with a heavy focus on social skills, disguise and forgery. I've decided to go with a more "good guy" vibe, though, so the new Thorne is a second-generation agent of the Harpers. He's now a half-elf Bard with the Spy background, and the Cult of the Dragon Infiltrator optional feature. He's still a social guy, with a focus on infiltration and information gathering, he just uses his talents for good now. He's got a few basic illusions, some healing magic just in case, and sleep as a backup (it's also great for getting past those pesky guards). I'll probably be going for the College of Lore, since not only does it make sense with the character, those proficiencies and off-class spells look like great things to have on hand. We've only got three players, though, and while our Sorcerer said she wants to go pseudo-melee, if the guy who said he might play a Paladin ends up deciding on something less tanky, I might go College of Valor just to give us more melee representation.

Haven't started playing yet, but here's my tentative character:

Verena Darkeyes (aka The Gravedigger's Daughter), Paladin of Vengeance, Folk Hero Background.

The Cult of the Dragon murdered her entire village as a dark sacrifice to Tiamat, and she swore upon the grave of her people their deaths would be avenged if she only had the power to fight the Cult. The Gods answered.

Folgers Valdez, a humble coffee merchant who has been caught up in a life of adventure.

I'll post more details later. I'm currently away from my character record. Offhand, he's a Half-Elf Bard with a merchant background. My good stats are Charisma, Dex, and Wisdom. I plan to pick up a few levels of Ranger so that his mule (named Maxwell) can gain some abilities and become more than just a pack animal.

I'll almost certainly be DMing Tyranny of Dragons. But if I do get the chance to play, I'm caught between two ideas.

First, I kinda want to revisit my first ever DnD character, a female elf Druid. I like the idea of a Hermit Druid driven by some obscure divination that launches her into the campaign.

The other notion is a street kid (Urchin background) Sorcerer. I'm not sure how he'd fit in the campaign, but he's the first character concept that I really liked from reading the PHB.
