Problem with isle of woe

I want to register for polibrun and 5 others (me included)

The Isle of Woe is a six player game.(correct me if i am wrong)

The 12 noon game is already prebooked by zander and crew i presume so I will have to book another time. Polibrun is unlikely to be able to play another time though.

Some one work this conundrum out for me as my brain is hurting.

If you can, register for me at noon and for you and your friends later... If not, care only for you, I'll be wandering around between noon and 2, that's not much of a problem...

You're correct that Isle of Woe is a six player game. That's why I originally appealed for three more players as I formed a team with S'mon and Upper_Krust.

I don't know if they have several tables of Isle of Woe, each with its own part of the Master Maze dungeon. I assume they do. So there shouldn't be a problem, I don't think. You can go ahead and book the same slot as us. They may not allow us to game together though - I don't know if they'll permit a team of 8 (5 of you and 3 of us). They might do. We'll find out on the day!

BTW S'mon, Upper_Krust and I are creating dwarves from the same family. S'mon will have a wiz, U_K a rogue and I'll have a fighter. You can join our dwarven family too if you like. The IoW organisers recommend a mix of classes. If possible, can one or two of you play clerics with lots of healing?

Please let me know in advance what your PCs will be.

Under no circumstances can one of you play a high CHA female human/elf called Snow White!!

Tickets are booked and paid for. Polibrun can breathe easy as we have paid for the tickets including his. I have booked all the tickets for 12 noon. Just booking our train now so we can actually get there

Sorry, but I REALLY do not like to play clerics. I was thinking of an halfling sorcerer, but I may play a gnome sorcerer instead to be more in line with you... I'll see if anything springs to my mind before that day, so that I can play something I enjoy!

OK, no problem. Halfling or gnome is fine. With such a large group, I'm sure we can do with an extra spell-slinging sor!

I hope that BeholderBurger can convince one or two from his crew to play clerics. Some more combat types (fighters, pals, barbs) would be good too.

Also ...I am still confused about whos playing what Isle of Woe game.

There is me and 4 friends who wanna play at 12 and also there are four of you. I believe we cannot all play the same game so what are we to do. We are creating characters tonight so we need to know if we are free to create what we like or if we need to fill gaps.

I maybe have an idea to play a dwarf... I think I'll create a drum-playing dwarven bard, it should be fun to play, carrying his drums everywhere he goes!

Seeing as I've just registered here (although I have lurked for about 6 months) I'm not exactly a known ENWorld guy, but nonetheless I'm going to GenCon too!

Shame I didn't spot this thread earlier - I'm GMing Isle of Woe in slot 14! So close, yet so far...

But, I will be manning the Raven desk for much of the weekend, so come by and say hi!
