"Unarmed attacks treated as..." options

With the exception of taking levels of the Monk class, what other options (feats, magic items, etc.) are available to have a fighter's unarmed attacks treated as X for overcoming damage reduction (similarly to the Monk's "ki strike")? Thanks!

Obviously, you want to have Improved Unarmed Strike. There are some feats in the Book of Exalted Deeds, called Sanctify Martial Strike and possibly others that (I think) overcome DR/good. There are probably similar ones in the Book of Vile Darkness to overcome DR/evil.

An amulet of mighty fists will help vs. DR/magic. I'm not sure of the applicability of spells like touch of adamantine or touch of silver (or whatever they are called) because without the monk's special wording on unarmed strikes, I don't know if those spells will work on the fighter.

Hopefully, this will be a start.

Thanks for the insight!

Sanctify Martial Strike says: "Damage done by chosen weapon is considered ‘Good’ for the purposes of overcoming Damage Reduction." I can never get it straight, does that mean this feat can be applied to an unarmed attack or is this one of those blurry/differing opinion rulings? (If it is one of those blurred/differing of opinions questions, let's leave it at that and not rehash that debate.)

Well, if you can choose "unarmed attack" as a weapon then you would never choose unarmed strike, or grapple, or whatever. I don't think unarmed attack is a weapon. Unarmed strike is, however.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks!
