undermountian for 3.5e?

I'm sure you all know that the first part of the Neverwinter Nights, Hordes of the Underdark campaign takes place in undermountain. It's teh k3wl!

If they do re-publish it, I hope they do a serious job and map out and describe at least ten levels. The whole "we'll give you 3 levels and you can make it up from there" thing annoyed me. It was a cop-out as far as I was concerned. I purchase settings so I don't have to make stuff up. If get a sudden desire to make something up, I'll change what is written in the set.

Can you imagine? Ten+ fold-out, huge, full-color dungeon maps, with a 200+ page book to describe it all! I'd be willing to pay proportionally more $$$ for an expanded product, too.

If they choose to republish it, I hope they do that too. While I don't mind "leaving the DM room for expansion", there is a point where it gets ridiculous. If it's just a re-hash of the original 2e product, then forget it. I'm not into regurgitation.

(UMT is only 9 levels. IIRC, there are "at least" 16 sub-levels. So far, levels 1-3 and 5 [Level 5 is in the FR Interactive Atlas] of the main levels have been mapped and 6 sub-levels have been mapped in "official" FR products.)

I, too, would pay a hefty sum for an expanded *and detailed* Undermountain. (I would pay nothing for an update, however.)

Those are included in the sub-level count I gave earlier (Ruins of Undermountain II had 4 sub-levels).

They're easy to update to 3.5 (IMO, at least, having updated all of them). Not tremendously interesting, except I didn't mind the bi-nou.
