For example, if he were a fighter, a 1st-level rogue would qualify for Weapon Focus as his bonus feat (because he'd have BAB +1). But he isn't a fighter, and he doesn't qualify. Why should Weapon Specialization, et al., be any different?

wildstarsreach said:A lot of the fighter feat are usually Base attack requirements rather than a specific level. In those I would say yes. Otherwise it would be the BA that the rogue would have earned at X level.
