Unhallowed Previews

No, Dragonlance fans weren't promised anything. If they wanted a Tanis Half-Elven, well, try to buy a Blood War pack that doesn't have him in it. Planescape fans didn't get what they were promised, that is, an Indep figure.

It's like saying people who wanted a bald meathead with a hammer would be disappointed by Van Richten because on the bottom of the figure it says Van Richten, not Bald Meathead With Hammer.

Large Ice Elemental

Gotta say I'm liking the Ice Elemental (though I prefer the term Paraelemental myself). Pretty much indifferent to the other two though.

I'm really liking the elemental figures that they are coming out with in the last few sets. A huge improvement on some of the earlier ones (although I think that also is true for almost all of the minis).

Olaf the Stout

Olaf,

Some certainly are improved... Others...like Strahd and Van Ritchen, not so much.

But yeah the elemental minis in the last couple sets were/are much improved from their previous incarnations.

Well in this weeks preview I like the bat but will use it as a stirge substitute.
Hopefully no one will notice. That is if I can get more than one.
If everyone wants bats they will be just as hard to get as the stirges.

The spellcaster on the magic carpet is pretty cool.

Not quite. The Stirge was in WotDQ, which didn't have the usual 12-booster-cases. Unhallowed Boosters will be sold by the dozen. In such a case you get 1.5 of each uncommon, you are more or less guaranteed some. In WotDQ, you weren't guaranteed to get one in a case, and many didn't get a lot of them.
