Even compared to the other huge rares?

I've never been able to judge WotDQ based on weight (though I often pick heavy boosters of other sets, to increase the chances of getting a large rare). Though I've never got a Tundra Scout either, so my advice may be suspect! Bear in mind that getting a large rare and/or large uncommon can affect the booster weight too. Every time I've tried to play 'pick the heaviest' I've ended up with a Huge Fire Elemental or Bluespawn Godslayer. All you can really rely on is that the lightest boosters are the huge Spider or the Mountain Troll...

Don't expect to get any rare huges in your WotD boosters. Actually, consider it a monumentous event if you do, because I never got any.

You pretty much need to buy a case to get a damn rare huge. I bought tons of boosters and only ended up with fire elementals and lame mountain trolls.

WotDG sucked hard (at least the randomization did).

I actually don't think I would mind getting a mountain troll. From some reason the troll and giant minis in all the sets appeal to me. Probably because I can use them in my game at the moment. While having the minis just to look at is nice I don't think it can compare to the look on my players' faces when I plop the mini down on the battlemat.

If you buy a case of WotDQ (six boosters), you're extremely likely to get two different huge rares. Your uncommon huges are also more likely to not be duplicates.

Oh yeah, a mountain troll is nice when you have 2 or 3. They're handy... but when 1/4 of the booster packs you get are fricken mountain trolls and the other 1/3 are fire elementals?! I don't use them THAT much.

I had a much better experience with Giants of Legend distribution. WotDG soured me.

I've only boot the boosters.

Let's see....

two purple worms...
two god slayers...
two tiamats
one bahamut
fire elemental

And well, I've only bought eight of 'em so there you go. Those god slayers are ugly and worthless though. They're the new night gaunt/phaton/giants from the old Giants of Legend.

I picked up a WotDQ box with a Dracolich on it and got the Sorcerer on Black Dragon. Thanks for the advice humble minion.

I think if I could only get 1 huge mini this would have been my second choice so I am very happy with that. The only other box (with the Nightmare art) that they had was noticably heavier than the box I got. My guess was that it had the Tundra Scout in it.

I'm really glad I didn't get the God Slayer. I don't know what I would have done with that.

Joe, I really hope that I don't get your sort of huge minis. 1 Huge Black Dragon is nice but I don't think that I would want to get another one now.

The Mountain Troll or the Eldritch Giant would be my top 2 choices of huge minis now.
