The only other box (with the Nightmare art) that they had was noticably heavier than the box I got. My guess was that it had the Tundra Scout in it.

It was probably a fire elemental, godslayer, or troll. That's what all the "this seems heavy, let's get it" boxes had for us. Just like the stupid earth elemental in angelfire..

Man, those are just brutal sculpts. Strahd, IMO, is such a disappointment. And Van Richten looks nothing like he did in all the Ravenloft material. I'll pass on both of those. Hopefully they're both rares so I can spend less money on uncommons instead.

Of course, I already have a vampire figure and plenty of humans, so these minis are redundant.

Strahd is a big disappointment, as is just another figure that can be used for a cleric or something. Meh.
So far, it looks like I will be saving some $$$, which is acceptable after how much I spent on the last 2 sets.

What makes it worse is Strahd has a bad case of Mage Knight melty-face!

Not to excited by those two. Hopefully others are better.

That's meant to be Dr. Rudolph Van Richten? He doesn't look anything like the character. He should look like a 50-60 year old scholary type with glasses and an overcoat, white hair and a backpack/satchel with a variety of monster hunting kit in it, including a book to take notes in.

And the less said about that Strahd the better. Not impressed with either of these sculpts. Roll on next Thursday!
