We know the past few months haven't quite delivered everything we hoped. But we're confident that with our redesigned, relaunched, fully digital Dragon, we'll give you more than enough reasons to keep coming back each week.

I granted WotC 4 months worth of excuses for their poor performance when the e-zines started. Then I began voicing concerns & complaints for 5 months with barely a peep coming from the Wizards tower in reply.

Chris, I hope you can accept a significantly less than overwhelmed response about these recent changes. To date, WotC has proven by example that they are not very good at managing and releasing online content in any kind of acceptable format that I would be willing to pay for. A few well formatted articles on the most important day of the 4E launch hardly compares to the many months of sub-par performance.

Give me 9 straight months worth of quality content delivered on-time (by your own dates) and then I'd be willing to admit you've made up for the past fiasco.

Now having got that off my chest, the format looks good and the content is heading in the right direction. Keep it up!

I am a fan of both the Warforged article and the Demonomicon writeup on Yeenoghu. Good stuff and a good start article-wise. I bet that a lot of content gets added this way, fleshing out the PHB/MM/DMG quite a bit. It's awesome that the Rules Compendium will add the data from these articles as well, building up what is considered "core".

Honestly? After the past year of drastically underdelivering (to put it mildly), I'm going to wait for a single collected pdf to come out to see if they can actually do it. Sounds like they may have their act together, but they're going to have to start overdelivering for a while to win me back. (And since others here have positive things to say about what's released so far, I hope they will be able to do it.)

If this is what we get, I'm in. The content was amazing. If the dragon (and dungeon) are like this every month I'll be bouncing up and down in glee.

The wife is getting ready to run me through Keep on Shadowfell, so the extra bits there are great. I loved the Warforged and Demonology article. I wonder if every demon lord has Cults. That is cool... great stuff for the DM. You could set up that being a background campaign thing - run into basic Cult, bigger cult, demon underlings, and cap off the game fighthing the demonlord himself. All that around other adventures of course.

As a rules/mechanics junkie dragon is going to be my new best friend.
