Sweet!! I'm really hoping the sets have extras but at the $40 price range (for 2 seasons) we may not get that much, if anything at all. Oh well, I'm perfectly happy to just have the shows themselves.

Edit: The 1st Season only had 7 episodes so there are a total of 28 episodes in this first set. At around 22 minutes per episode that makes for ~ 10 hours of TV in the set. 3 disc set with some extras, anyone? :)

Excellent. One of the very best sitcoms of the last decade. And that first set should have a couple of my all-time favorites, if memory serves.

1. The video game, where Dave once again hoses the SATs because of Stargate Defender.
2. The rat funeral. "This is the last time I'm going to tell you: this is the mail chute, this is the incinerator!"

Man, I love that show.

I can't remember the main plot to the episode, but Andy Dick sings this song called "Frodo Was a Paranoid Gnome," and it just goes on and on, and there's a couple of D&D references. That was hysterical. Anyone remember which episode I'm talking about?

Oh! Oh! And the Newsradio In Space episode? Was that second season? If it has that, I'm definitely buying.

Oh hell, I'm definitely buying anyway.

I consider myself to be a huge Newsradio geek. These are pretty easy. :)

The Frodo song was from the ep where someone that the staff didn't know (Ted) died and that person's ex-roommate came to visit the office to get some good "Ted Stories."
Turns out Ted wasn't a very good person. He killed himself with the copy machine and was a member of the KKK.
I almost died laughing when Matthew busted out with the Frodo song. The air-guitar nearly killed me. :D

The Space ep (classic!!!) was Season 3. It was the season finale. Both 3 and 4 ended with theme finales. 4's was the Titanic inspired ep, which just happened to be Hartman's last ep.

The D&D references were great. I loved it when Jimmy mentions to Dave, "Dave really I appreciate you Dungeons ang Dragons aproach to office management, but I left my twelve sided dice at home so I'll just go tell them alright?" It was already one of my favorite comedies ever and the D&D/geek stuff just pushed it over the edge, right to the top...

Cool! I only got into Newsradio in the 2nd or 3rd season but realloy enjoyed it. Once Phil died it was never tha same (and I just couldn't watch it anymore without him there - really loved that guy's work :( ).

28 eps for $40 is a great deal - this is something I might look for after Xmas as my 'wish list' is already very long :)

My wife and I watched the show a lot in syndication. I was royally bummed with Hartman was killed. But I have to confess, the year after he died, the show still cracked me up quite a bit. It certainly wasn't the same show, and not quite as funny, but I still thought it was good.

I wonder how much longer it would have lasted with Phil...
