Urn Your Pay (Rae judging)

ooc: Scratch that, of course Erf can throw his dagger before stepping back. Sheesh. I blame work. But I'd still like to know if he is stepping back or not.

Round 3, continued

Gildrim backs away and positions himself in the water on the far side of a tree. "It will kill you if you don't get clear," he says distinctly.

Fenenn snaps again, but his jaws cannot penetrate the creatures thick hide, Erf tugs Fenenn back five feet, hopeing to at least draw the beast out onto land, Erf then flings his dagger at the beast and to his surprise it hits home quivering in the creatures neck.

"Gildrim do somethin'! Ye've got no guarantee its gonna just pass us by we've gotta fight!" He shouts.

Ter-raen nearly buckles under the impact of the powerful tail, but manages to stay up, although he's not too sure where that second crocodile came from. Sword and shield in a defensive pattern, Ter-raen moves away from the crocodile, hoping to get into a more advantageous position.

Apikotoa takes advantage of the space Ter-raen's movement creates, and fires an arrow into the crocodile's side, drawing more blood. (4 damage)

The crocodile charges blindly forward, swinging its tail at Fenenn, but the blood must have run into its eyes; it misses completely.

Initiative:
Ter-raen 2/14
Apikotoa undamaged
Crocodile 13 damage
Gildrim 8/9, 1 dex dmg. 15 AC <== You're up
Erf 12/12
Fenenn 13/13

"Weel that's a fine way tae git it surroonded," says Gildrim, looking at everyone spread out in a line in front of the beast. "Ye great gowks! Git ahint a tree an' let it come aheid!"

OOC: delaying

"Fenenn over and attack!" Screams Erf, pointing to the north of the crocodile and swallowing back his fear at the sheer size of the beast - wondering just how many forest gnomes it would take to fill this terrible reptile - and pulls his remaining dagger. He then scampers around staying away from the beast until the last moment in order to flank with his comapnion.

Sensing Erf's fear Fenenn lets out a deep throated howl and again descends upon the beast, this time his bite hits home and blood fountains out covering his fur in gore.

[sblock=Hit 19, 9 Damage! IC loves me again!]Fenenn's Attack (1d20+5=19, 1d6+3=9) :D *Does the max damage dance* Wow, I hope that downs it! its got to right? Right? I was thinking it would end up dragging Fenenn's corpse into the swamp for a while there![/sblock]

[sblock= If the Croc goes down...] Erf calls out for everyone to leave it be and attempts to stabalize it with heal checks, removing the tiny arrows.

"Poor thing was just mad with pain, he's magnificent really. I say we leave him here, is there anywhere else nearby we can head for the rest of the night Apikotoa?" [/sblock]

The crocodile sways, exhausted and bleeding heavily, but the rage in its eyes is undimmed. It might fall over at any second, but it will try to take a foe with it.

ooc: croc is at 0 HP. Gildrim and Ter-raen are up.

As the crocodile looms over him Erf swallows, suddenly very afraid and very aware of his proximity to those vast jaws and that deadly tail.

"Not good!" He gulps in a much higher voice than his normal one.

"Damnit fool! Ye damnit fool!" shouts Gildrim, as he lumbers back towards the beleaguered gnome. He realises he won't get there in time, draws his arm back - and throws his sword at the crocodile!

He misses by a mile.

OOC: move to 2 squares N of his tree; throw 1d20+1-4-4-2=-1

ooc: I'm going to be away and out of touch from tomorrow until sometime on Monday. I might get a chance to update again in the morning, but I might not.
