Keep polling until you get the answers you want? The other poll has three times as many votes cast, which seems to make it at least as valid as this one, if not more so.

That reminds me of something our CEO says up at work all the the time, "Why spend time and money on statistics if they don't prove your point?"

Which is to say, if one set of stats doesn't prove your point, find some that do. And, having taken a statistics class or two in college I recall the sheer ease in getting biased samples as well as data set manipulation that allows for certain... improper conclusions to be drawn.

Anyhow, I voted "No" on this one as well. While sex and innuendo most certainly occur in my games they are best left off camera so to speak. We certainly don't need rules for how sex works in D&D since we are all adults are are quite aware of the mechanics involved. That's not to say characters cannot fall in love, have children etc. it's just that I don't need rules and "crit tables" for how much damage childbearing does... Hmmm, you're welcome to that idea, AV, if you've not already incorporated it somewhere in the book in the name of completion and/or as a platform for your sticking it to the big mean suits.

I think the other poll was fine; it had a simpler set of options, was neutral, and had a lot more responses. I'm inclined to agree with Aeolius; sometimes we create more and more polls until we get the results we want to see. I'm not sure what the value in doing that is.

23 "No" of one type or the other compared to 16 "Yes" of some sort...the difference isn't as large as I thought it would be.

At least so far.

This makes it pretty clear you expect (and want perhaps) this pole to show something in specific... Now, what is it?

I am going to hazard a guess the polls will show similar results. Its already 65 % against with 10% undecided - fairly close to the 70% + against in the other poll.

Looks to me that hunter just wants a better reason behind the vote, something the 5 options before did not give.

Fair enough. This poll has four "Yes", four "No", and two "Maybe" choices, whereas the other poll had two, two, and one. So far, both polls both lean towards "No", but the day is still early.

We had a running joke about Lucky the gnoll mystic pimp who was wrongfully imprisoned in the Banewarrens. I've considered taking the agony mage prc which gives a wizard a lot of social class skills and abilities along with full spell progression. The skill prereqs are killer though unless you multiclass with rogue or bard.

I voted No. And because of their relation with sex & eroticism I won't even use the non-sexual, non-erotic material, such as spells & monsters.
