Using 2 Metamagic feats at once

I was wandering if I could use Heighten spell and Sculpt Spell in the same round? I would like to cast lighting bolt, a third-level spell, as a fifth level spell, using heigten spell, then use Sculpt Spell to cause the lightning bolt to affect a spherical area, not just a straight line, which would make the spell a 6th level spell.

Would it be possible to do this? The spell would use one of my 6th level spell slots, but be treated as a fifth level spell instead of a third level spell for the saving throw.

Are you playing a sorceror (or other spontaneous caster) or a wizard (or other prepared caster)?

A wizard will have no problem at all pulling this particular stunt off - he'll just have to prepare it in advance.

For a sorceror, you'll be spending a lot of time casting, but you can still do it.

No more time than using a single metamagic feat.

Right.

Assuming we're only talking about "1 standard action" spells, it'll take him a full-round action.

But it might end up costing him an additional full-round action, if he's applying it to a spell with a longer casting time.

I should have been clearer, yes.
