No problem there. I'm not interested in making money. I just would like to contribute to the community (as you are by making the appendices available for download).Upper_Krust said:1. It cannot be used in any product thats going on sale without my consent.
Consider it done. I'm almost ready for alpha testing on the CR calculations for "MonsterCalc", as I have christened the webpage. I envision three milestones, the first of which is almost complete:Upper_Krust said:2. You must credit the source...namely me and the book.

1. Fully implement the revised CR rules. MonsterCalc will be tested to make sure that all computed CR's match the values given in the IH appendix. Once MonsterCalc can correctly compute every monster in the MM, I'll be convinced it works.
2. Create human/DM-readable stat-blocks for all creatures. Given the correct input, MonsterCalc should output stat-blocks for all monsters virtually identical to those in the MM. Also to be tested for is that all attacks, saves, DC's, etc. are all computed correctly.
3. Saving/loading of monsters, as well as import/export from/to PCGen format would be nice. Also a nicer interface (right now I'm working on functionality and skimping on aesthetics) will be necessary.
Once I have the first milestone of MonsterCalc ready for testing, I'll probably post a new thread in the appropriate forum and announce on this thread. Testing against all those monsters is probably more than I will be able to handle on my own.
Keep your eyes peeled!
