Well, it does still seem contrary to the point of the thread. And people might read this, expecting to not see spoilers... eventhough it says (spoilers) in the title...

Well, highlight this if you want:

Vader got it on with Padme, Padme told him she was pregnant, but no one knew she had twins. Vader knew that Padme was going to die in childbirth, but didn't know how until he was told (in the very end). He never knew the first names of the children (or child, whatever), or at least he wasn't told. We don't know how much intelligence he got on his children between episodes three and four, but we should probably assume not much
