I've always wanted a vampire race, or sub-race option... so i made one. Let me know what you think or what should be tweaked.
Humanoid Sub-Race: The Vampire
Special: Replaces all features of class
Prerequisite: must be a Human, Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Half Elf, or Gnome
Ability score increase: None
Proficiencies: Unarmed strike and Bite.
Darkvision: You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.
Undead: You are classified as undead and are affected or unaffected by everything that undead are.
Regeneration: Each turn you regain hit points equal to 1d4. This includes while you are unconscious or making death saving throws. You regain consciousness at 1 hp if you were below 0 hp.
Bite: While grappling a creature you can take an action to attack with a bite. Your bite does 1d6 necrotic damage and your regain the hp of the amount of damage that is dealt this way.
Spider climb: You can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceiling, without needing to make ability check. While climbing you must have both hands free and you give advantage to any creature that is making an attack roll against you.
Vulnerability to Sunlight: You have disadvantage on all ability checks and ranged attacks while in direct sunlight, but not on melee attacks. Also regeneration does not work in sunlight.
Immunity: Healing potions and spells don’t affect you.
Forbiddance: You can’t enter a house without an invitation from one of the occupants.
Stake to the heart: If a wooden stake is driven through your heart you are paralyzed until it is removed.
