Cool stuff. The Van Helsing character reminds me of Solomon Kane in some of those shots. Which is a good thing.

You mean there are actual people who do like streaming video?

:)
Seriously, what is wrong with streaming video? If you have enough bandwidth (like a cable internet connection) even the high res trailers play just fine.

i believe the reason why the big cg-dude looks like Hyde is because it IS Hyde.
i read somewhere that dracula, frankenstein and wolfman arent the only famous monsters in the movie.

That seems odd though, since a 'Hulk-ish' Mr. Hyde is wholly a creation of Alan Moore's (the writer of the LoEG comic.) I find it much more likely that that character is Frankenstein's Monster. I guess we'll have to wait until 5-2-04 to be sure. ;)

Okay, I haven't watched the trailer... but that's of concern.

If you go into a movie hoping for some stuff that's cooler than the stuff in the trailer, then...

... wait, has that ever happened?

-Hyp.

The original trailers for LotR:FotR didn't show ANY of the 'money shots.' I think we got the "You...! Shall Not...! Pass!!" bit along with the balrog's foot and that was it. Of course, a week or two after it came out the trailers were showing just about everything...

Same thought went through my mind. :)
With a little rewriting of the script, they could have turned this into a SK adventure.

I usually tend to scoff at Hollywood when they radically depart a movie's original source material, but in this case, the movie looks so damn good that I can't bring myself to do anything but grin in anticipation. Jackman is so the man!

I don't think that's true, as there have certainly been other monstrous versions of the Mr. Hyde character in the past. Heck, in the Marvel Universe there is a "hulk-ish" Mr. Hyde character who's fought the actual Hulk himself. :)
