Veronica Mars 01.04.05 (SPOILERS)

Great to have Mac back and in such a great storyline too. My heart broke when she went to get her purse. Great acting by both Mac and the mother. I hope Mac stays around as a supporting character (it looks like they're going to, so cool).

Can't say I was really surprised by who made the phone call to the help line. "The mystery deepens" as they say.

I have the agree with the Mac subplot. Good stuff there.

As for finding out the caller, I wasn't that surprised either, but I'm looking forward to the little espionage war that's about to happen between those two .

While it was good I think the over did the similarity between the biological relatives way too much.

At first I thought they were going to pull a swerve and have the child swapping be other children. But then when Mac went to the house (of the snotty rich girl who's name I can't remember) for the party and we saw the little sister, I saw I was wrong. I think that's why they went out of their way to make them similar looking. So as to say, "No, we're not going to swerve you."

But I wasn't talking, or even thinking for that matter, about their physical appearrance, but their personality. The little had pretty much the exact same personality as Mac, while the blonde was entirely different, effectively showing they're environment had no influence on their development.

They're not very consistent in doing that, though; Madison doesn't seem much like her biological parents or her kid brother, just out of sync with her mother and little sister (we never see the father). And Veronica's personality is much like a man who in all likelyhood is not her biological father.
