Why have I not heard about this movie?

After realizing that it was impossible to get my tivo videos to play on a vista computer, i decided to rent some movies for my plane trip to jamaica. One of the recommended movies was this one called Versus.

Amazing movie!!!

Zombies, samurai, questionable heroes, wizards, over the top bad guys and lots of action. It's like watching anime except with real people. Best movie I've seen in a while and worth a buy.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool movie. I've really liked the director's other movies as well, but some (like Sky High) are a lot more cerebral than action packed.

A similar movie (almost an unofficial sequel) to Versus is "Death Trance"

Not as good, but same star (and I think the director is the fight coreographer of Versus) and fairly entertaining.

They're evidently working on a Versus 2 with the original cast and director. Also, on top of all the other three versions of the film available on DVD, there is an "Ultimate Versus" that came out not long ago to get. Still not entirely sure what the differences are between versions.

The director jumped to Hollywood, doing a Clive Barker movie. That possibly changes the plans for Versus 2.

Some parts were a bit TOO MUCH, but overall quite fun.
