Vile damage & sundering attacks

My Book of Vile Darkness has been on loan. Apologies if I have stuff wrong.

If I make a sundering attack with a vile weapon, can the damaged weapon now only be repaired on consecrated or hallowed ground?

I don't think the book covers this, but I'd think that the item could be fixed anywhere.

They can be repaired as normal. Objects are repaired, not healed.
