Friday was the last happy hour at one of our regular local places that is shutting down after a decade. Menu has one of its regular, really good stouts still (lots of IPAs). Had great burgers for food


Last Sunday afternoon EDH of the year at a local place in an airport hangar. No stouts or porters lately, but a good Hefe.


End of the semester Christmas beer later in the evening. A variant of their Mocha Blonde stout. Solid but not spectacular.

A friend has reduced his drinking, so he dropped off a good dozen very expensive beers. Drinking a Bourbon County from goose Island tonight....

Christmas eve, summer, hot day. Tomorrow is supposed to hit 25 degrees centigrade.



May as well stick with what you like.

I'll be cracking my Mint Stouts and other various home creations the next few nights.
