Vow of Poverty at higher levels

Hahem, a character that took it at level 18 and hence has those extra inherent bonuses looses the level (1,2,4,6,8,10,12,16) bonus exalted feats, so he's not getting the mega feat bonus in exchange for that chance, which I think is fair (but then again I think an arbitrary multiplier at an arbitrary limit is silly, maybe a x2 multiply at for each +2 above +6 would make more sense (ie +8 is x2, +10 is x3, +12 is x4)(thats just a random number of the top of my head so don't bother throwing examples at me why it won't work :P, the number of the increase and the size of the increments can be tweaked).

The funniest thing is, you can take the feat at a much earier level and still have all the inherent bonusses you want - if you have a Cleric or Wizard in the party who's willing to burn some XP for you, to cast ths wishes himself. You can, after all, have spells cast on or for you.

Yeah, but then you could expect other party members to get the same benefit from the Wizard/Cleric, without putting a severe dent in their GP allotment, so I think thats a fairly poor reason to balance it based on that.

The point is, bonus stacking.

If you assume the VOP and non-VOP characetr get the same +5 inherent bonus, then the +8 enhancement bonus provided by the VoP is a significant advantage.

No, the point is resources. If someone gladly gives you his "money" or "xp", then sure. Normally you have to spend your money or xp to get that inherent bonus.

Bye
Thanee

I don't know of too many wizards or clerics who would gladly give away 15,000 xp.. (After all it's not like the VoP character can pay them for it in any way..)
