W... What!?

Holmes has been Victorian, 50s, and contemporary. No reason he can't be middle-ages too.

Cadfael! Just Holmes hiding out in the past, after an experiment with a time machine sent him and Moriarty careening through time and space, jumping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping each time that his next leap will be the leap home…

So, now we have Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes and Quantum Leap tied together...

To comment on the original post - why would they ruin a good franchise like MIB with the some retro tripe like "22" Jump Street? Frankly, I think the original cast of "21 Jump Street" (the TV show for those that didn't know it existed) should be allowed to publicly shame the cast of the movies a la the Medieval period - you know pillory and rotten veggies, eggs, etc.

And the producers of the new wave of "70s/80s TV to Movie remakes" should have physically uncomfortable things done to them that would violate the "Eric's grandma rule" just so they get the point.
