OOC: So, initiative order is:
Conuld
Tommy
Solange
Rathan
Saithnar
Rogues
***
Tommy pushes the "women of the evening" out of the way and hastily readies his crossbow, ducking behind a nearby table. Meanwhile, Conuld nervously readies his crossbow, aiming at one of the rogues.
Rathan shouts his orders, although whether or not it works remains to be decided. A few of the drinkers are obviously too confused to act on Rathan's command, while some of the others would rather have a barfight that *didn't* involve weapons. Rathan can make a Diplomacy check (with a +2 modifier due to his earlier actions with them) against a DC of 20 to see if he can sway them to fight next round.
Saithnar mentally activates his shield.
The two rogues, a bit stunned as the whole tavern erupts into life, exchange worried glances with each other.
"We're surrounded, mate" the first rogue mutters.
"Looks like."
"Should we fight, or run?"
"looks like we have no choice."
The first rogue, rather suddenly, throws a dagger at Conuld. (OOC: Conuld can take a shot before the rogue throws his dagger, of course.) The shot was made in haste, though, and Conuld is able to duck out of the way as the dagger slams into the wall behind him.
Tommy fires off a shot that ricochets off the table near the rogue and buries itself into the rogue's ribs. He grunts and grabs his side with one hand, blood already oozing out between his fingers.
Rogue's Thrown Dagger Attack (1d20+2=5)
Tommy's Crossbow Attack (1d20+2=20)
Tommy's Crossbow Damage (1d8=2)
The second rogue, perhaps a bit more wisely, dashes for the door.
