Round One (Cont'd)

Aiken moves forward, into the path of the charging dogs. He manages to stab the one that he's already injured, plunging the knife in deep. The dog snarls and snaps at Aiken, already quite weakened.

Pendrake stands near Aiken, and brings his blade down upon the injured dog. But the attack Misses (1d20+6=8, 1d8+3=4).

OOC: Sorry, Scott. Rolled for you to speed things up.)

The wounded dog, faced with two foes ready to kill it, dashes off into the bush (full withdraw action). Within a few seconds, it's nearly a hundred feet away, dashing wildly through the forest.

Cepheus...

The remaining two dogs decide to tackle Aiken and Pendrake. Dog #3 leaps into the air, snarling. It is able to bite Aiken's shoulder, before the rogue can throw the dog off. It is still snarling viciously, a tattered remnant of Aiken's clothes hanging from it's jaws.

The other dog moves in and snaps at Pendrake's feet, but cannot get past the northman's shield.

Solange fires a bolt (1d20+3=19, 1d8=1) at the dog on Aiken, but simply irritates the dog more than anything. She reloads.

Aiken moves to flank one of the dogs with Pendrake, He'll Tumble (1d20+7=16) if necessary to avoid AOO's.

Then stab the dog

Vicious slavering teeth are launched at pendrake but... clang! the head of the dog is deflected off the shield. 'whew!' he thinks to himself. He brings his sword around again for another attempt to dispatch the red eyed dog...

the sword hit is solid and the blade cuts deep!

If no threat comes from the tower Cepheus will fire at any standing goblins and if none the best shot at a dog presented.

Round two

SOlange pulls off her shot against the dog on Aiken, but misses.

The Dog in the bush keeps running. And running. It is by now so far in the bush, that it probably isn't going to come back.

Aiken feels his skin itch where the dog bit him, and it breaks out into small hives. While uncomfortable, they are no moreso than a sunburn, a fact that Aiken is very thankful for.

Aiken flips into position, and is able to stab the side of the dog as he moves. It yelps in pain, and falls to the ground, twitching.

Pendrake moves to attack the remaining uninjured dog, and tears a massive gash along the dog's side. It falls to the ground, spouting out blood.

The wounded dog, that had already disengaged, now makes another double move, disappearing into the bush.

Cepheus doesn't have a target. All of the dogs are dead.

There is a single door to the silo, that has obviously seen some use recently. Birds in the forest slowly begin to resume their song, and within a moment of your attack, it is as if nothing happened.
