W2: The Search For Tomas Quinn (Rae Judging)

As Cepheus approaches the window and can see how effective the sniper is he turns to Aiken "Should we go up and see if we cant dislodge the birdie from its perch?"

 

[Corwyn]

"Did I hear a lot of town guard enter upstairs? Going that way wouldn't be very helpful if we end up in lock-up."Says Aiken "If Solange gets here we could go through the secret tunnel here or we go outside and help her."

 

[Wik]

Solange: Probably fifty feet - maybe a bit less. And you could always move closer - if you want to risk being fired at.

Everyone else: You mill about in the alleyway, the sound of the fighting coming from within.

"Things are going to get very bad..." Hukk sniffs. "Poor Tomas..."

 

[BigB]

I do not think Solange will enter. She seemed opposed to the idea. If not up we should go out and see what we can do to help. Cepheus then goes out the window.

ooc: How far up is the sniper and can he/she be seen from the ground near the window?

 

[Corwyn]

"I'll move out as a diversion and cover so that someone can go over to those wounded priests and drag them to safety" As he says that he draws his rapier and steps out onto the street.
"Cowardly dog! Your mother lies with sewer rats! Come down and fight like a man or is that to much for you" he taunts the sniper.

OOC: Aiken will use combat expertise to raise his AC to 18. He will screen anybody trying to drag the priests to safety and try to draw fire from the sniper.

"I am clumsey, but still strong. I drag zem"

Pendrake will run to where the priestes are pinned down and will try to bring them to safety.

 

[Solange]

Solange steps closer to the sniper (if she can, hugging the building he's on top of) and calls forth a loud burst of sound by the sniper.

OOC: DC 15 or stunned, and takes (Solange's Sound Burst damage.) (1d8=4). Also should make his position generally known to anyone with ears.

 

[Wik]

Pendrake runs out into the street and pulls away the two priests, stumbling as if drunk. The world spins around him, and when he gets them to cover, he has to grab the wall to prevent himself from falling down. He thinks someone may have fired an arrow at him, but his wild lurchings seem to have kept him intact.

One of the priests look at Pendrake, and whispers "Isn't it a bit early to be drinking?" and then grins wildly, fishing out a metal flask from her pocket.

Aiken steps out and makes his cry, and draws the sniper's eye only for a second - but long enough to distract him from the Priests.


Solange runs towards the main house, and sets off her spell. The room with the sniper fills with a loud sonic BOOOOOMMM!!!! that seems to shake the very foundations of the structure.

Aiken clearly sees the sniper grab at his ears and lurch around upstairs, the wind completely knocked out of him. A small rivulet of blood seems to be pouring out of his left ear drum.

"Nein drink...ist poisen", explains the northerner

 

[Wik]

"Poison? Poison? DAMNED THIEVES!" the priest suddenly exclaims, and then starts digging around in his pack. He hands a stoppered vial to Pendrake, and offers a weak grin.

"One good turn deserves another. It isn't perfect, but it should help."
