W2: The Search For Tomas Quinn (Rae Judging)

pendrake hears sound and turns to see cephus. a smile and a nod from the northerner is accompanied by a helping hand for a silent entrance. he then looks to see if any others arejoining them.

AIKEN: Aiken slips out from invisibility and plunges his blade into the man's back. His body tenses up for just a second, before sliding to the ground.
Hukk is just a little horrified, his mouth moving but no sound coming out. However, Aiken doesn't have time to look at Hukk - his attention has been turned to the woman.
She pauses for a moment, and then curses. "To hell with this!"
She runs down the corridor, sliding the door shut behind her. Aiken once again only sees wall, though he thinks he could probably re-open the passageway if need be.
He can hear the sounds of footsteps up above, and the sounds of men shouting. "Get the bastards!" one man screams out.

Pendrake and Cepheus make their way towards Aiken, and come in just as the woman flees. Aiken turns to see them, and then looks back at Hukk.
The little boy is curled up against one wall, before sliding up to stand. While you know Hukk is over the age of ten, he looks much younger just now. Still silent, Hukk steps up to the party, and absently pats Cepheus on the head.
"Tomas is at the docks. And Riffer is going to talk to him before the other thieves can hurt him. That's what he told me. We should go. Bad men are upstairs."

Solange makes her way behind some cover - a lantern post on a street corner. With her crossbow shaking in her hands, she spots the sniper in the window - a man who has seen Solange, but is still intent on firing at the priests. She can pull of a shot, but it'll be a difficult one, as the sniper has some protection from the window frame.
The woozy guardsman falls to the ground, clutching his head. The wounded priestess hides behind an abandoned cart, and starts pulling out strips of cloth from her satchel. She catches Solange's eye, and gives a fierce smile that doesn't hide the terror in her eyes.
She pulls the arrow out of her leg with a yelp, and then starts binding her foot.

He looks at the boy, Hukk and starts shaking a bit with a tear trying to maakes presence known.
"Vee neet leave now, mein friends."
Pendrake then offers his hand to Hukk to lead him to the window, "Come vee to Thomas to go find, Ja?"

The main group converges in the alleyway, screams and the other sounds of violence filling the street. Solange, meanwhile, is ducking behind a post, watching the bow sniper keep the street clear of further watch members. As Solange watches, another guardsman stumbles out onto the street, clutching his stomach. he sits down on the front steps, holding his insides.

Pendrake climbs out of the window and sees the comotion that has escalated outside. the poisen that courses through his veins causes his vision to be blury and doubled, his hands shakey from his muscles being affected as well. Dispite this he draws his bow and an arrow. where this action in the past was smothe and difinitive, it is now like that of a school bow trying to aim at a flock of sparrows. his attention is to take aim at the sniper...hopefully.
