Unsure if his is to stay or go, Tondrek traces a few quick motions on his gloves, giving him the strength to move faster. He then pulls back to the door to see what the others do.

OOC: bull's strength, so Tondrek is now moving at 20'.

Just waiting for Guardian's Action. If I don't get it by tonight, I'll take his attack for him.

Guardian's attacks barely hits, as the rogue was still off balance from his charge against the warforged. Guardian is able to run the man through, killing him instantly. Guardian stares into the man's eyes as the life seeps out of them; this close, Guardian notices the man is half-elven. He mutters something quietly, and falls to the ground, lifeless.

(OOC: I had it written down as a miss, until I remembered that the rogue had charged Guardian. Woops)

Rukus moves over to the door, shouting "We need to get out of here!" loudly, while coughing in the growing smoke.

***ROUND THREE***

T'Ranis: 24
Crossbowman #3 18
Tondrek: 17
Lori 14
Shadow 13
Haltash 9
Crossbowman #2 9
Half-Elven Attacker 7
Guardian 3
Rukus 3

T'Ranis adeptly reloads his crossbow while running, but he cannot find a worthwhile target (the skycab crossbowmen having cover, after all). He then moves back to the side room, where the crewman he left there is nervously guarding the door, peering out at the chaos and coughing in the yellow smoke.

"We need to get out of here, don't we? We have to run, freak! Or those ships will kill us all!"

The first of the bound crossbowmen is still trying to escape the phantasmal bonds that surround him. He starts to scream as the aircab drops another five feet and tilts more and more, while the astral construct approaches him menacingly...

Tondrek casts his spell and moves back to the door. (OOC: Why is his normal speed only 10? I understand that he's encumbered, but even with a heavy load, he would have a speed of 20 feet anyways. Therefore, bull's strength would just boost his load to medium, keeping his speed at 20 feet. Am I missing something here?)

Lori maintains the illusion, and pulls towards the exit door (OOC: Just assuming what you'd do, Solange; feel free to correct me)

Shadow steps out of the room, and sees absolute chaos. A single crewman wearing a striped shirt is holding off the attacks of three rogues wearing loose-fitting black clothing and veils that obscure their faces. This battle carries on perhaps fifteen feet away, though it does not cut off the means of escape (where you were dropped off, in that main landing area).

The bodies of two dead crewman are scarttered about the hallway. Distant melees can be seen further down the hall. While shadow isn't entirely sure, he thinks he can hear a man shouting commands to the clad attackers, although he can't see anything...

The poor crewman, already cut in several places from the elongated daggers of his attackers, is sliced from his stomach up to his neck by one of the shadowy assassins. The other two follow suit, and within seconds, he is torn to ribbons by their attacks.

they turn towards Shadow, and begin to fan out, in attack formation.

Haltash's construct again strikes at the crossbowman, and again misses... the man is able to dodge the attack, if barely. Meanwhile, Haltash is able to pull the bound prisoner to the door safely. He can clearly see and hear the chaos in the hall outside.

The second crossbowman in the skycab is able to break free of his bonds, and makes a grab at the helm of the skycab, just as it was about to flip! He screams loudly, and his muscles tense as he exerts every last ounce of strength to steady the cab. But he succeeds.

However, his attention is now focused solely on maintaining the craft, and he doesnt' have the time to devote to an attack. Realising that their attack is meaningless, he pulls the skycab away.

The approaching skycabs are getting closer, although they are slowing down as they see that "Flames" are erupting from the office.

[sblock=Re:action points]
I dunno where the best place to record spent action points would be. Maybe in your initial character info at the start of this thread? If it's alright by y'all, I've recorded the spent action points there.

Crap. No, your not, I am. Still thinking in terms of 3.0 where heavy always brought you to 10 IIRC. However, it still helps with the ACP if we have to climb a rope again.

Seeing the Bad Men in the hall, the half-orc takes out a scroll and begins casting something to help their escape. "Beddy-bye!"

Assuming he's close enough to see what is going on, cast sleep from a scroll vs. the thugs.

Current HP: 18/29

As the half-elf falls from his blade, Guardian scans the room. He shouts to his remaining companions in the room and says, "We should fall back to better ground! I'll cover your retreat from that door." He heads to the door that Shadow just went through. If he reaches it, his surprise at finding foes there is only momentary, and he'll move to cover his companions retreat.

If Guardian can reach one of the foes in the hall, he will fight defensively and try to cover the hallway (i.e. he'll try to position himself so if the veil-wearing rogues pass by him they'll be moving through threatened squares).

If T'Ranis can manage to move at least 10' before firing, he'll take another Skirmish attack.

Skirmish attack, if able to arrange (1d20+7=8, 1d8+1d6+3=8)

Otherwise, he will manifest Inertial Armor as a Psi-Like ability.

With his Inertial Armor now in place, T'Ranis takes a moment to respond to the panicked crewman.

If T'Ranis has interacted with the illusion (breathed the smoke?) and made his save, he will inform the guard the fire and smoke are mere illusions, and urge him to stand his post. If T'Ranis is fooled by the illusion, he will ask how they might exit the vehicle safely.

As to the rest of his action, T'Ranis will make a skirmish attack if that seems likely, and otherwise will full defend.
