"They most certaintly will if you keep screaming to let them know where we are don'cha know." Lori says, not quite paying attention as she follows Haltash.

OOC: Still concentrating. If they pause one round, she'll load the crossbow, otherwise she can't really do that and move I think.

(Whoops. Sorry, Warlock)

Shadow does a pretty convincing job, and is able to avoid second notice by the assassins as the astral construct begins to form behind them. But then he hears a feminine voice hiss out, from about five to ten feet behind the assassins - "Summoning! Behind you!"

Haltash pulls the screaming prisoner out in the main hall, but can't move very far - the chair and struggling raider are fairly heavy, and Haltash finds himself slipping on the stone as he pulls. At one point, the chair slips, and both tumble to the ground. With the chair down, Haltash finds it slightly easier to pull, although the chair still gets stuck on the occasional loose cobblestone.

Guardian's attack of opportunity misses, although he still has a chance to make a regular attack roll (could you post your attack four Round Four, IC, as well as your action for round five?)

Rukus, the second in command, curses loudly, and then fumbles in his jacket, pulling out a crystal the size of his fist. He mumbles "How in the nine hells do I...?" before it flashes bright pink. Rukus' eyes roll up until only the whites are showing, and his legs look like they'll give out from underneath him. He then says (almost quietly enough to not be heard) "Get here quickly. We're under attack" before his eyes roll down, and he nods to himself.

"Help is on the way, chiefs. But the Cap'n has caught some hell of his own, and he's bringing it with him."

Seeing the rogue in the corridor, Haltash draw his dagger and cut the bounds of the prisoner. "Stay with us, or you'll get killed." order Haltash to the prisoner.

Seeing that the rogues are attempting a foul back-stabbing tactic, Guardian steps back to try and foil it whilst sweeping his blade in an arc at the head of the rogue whom he just attacked.

OOC: Guardian will 5' step towards his allies and attack the rogue he just took an AOO on, probably missing.

Attack, damage (1d20+4=12, 1d8+2=6)

Guardian will assign his shield block class feature to the rogue who tumbled past him. (This gives him +1 to his shield bonus against that foe.)

Guardian will continue to cover his allies' retreat, fully withdrawing if they are all out of the room, otherwise he'll continue to slowly step back and strike at the rogues.

Round Five

T'Ranis: 24
Dark-Clad attackers: 22
Invisible attacker
Tondrek: 17
Lori 14
Shadow 13
Haltash 9
Guardian 3
Rukus 3

T'Ranis bursts into the main hallway, and pulls off a shot. The attack strikes one of the attackers square in the chest, and he falls over backwards.

the two remaining attackers close around Guardian, hoping to cut him to pieces. However, Guardian's surprising agility, in combination with their uncoordinated behaviour, result in little success

Tondrek moves away, and pulls off a shot, but Guardians' movements keep getting in the way. It goes wild.

Lori, still concentrating, makes her way down the hallway while getting her crossbow ready. She turns for a moment, to see the yellow smoke billowing out of the office's doors - and is surprised to see it eddy for a moment around an invisible shape, seemingly feminine... and it's right behind Shadow!

Just before finishing his spell, Shadow yells out his command, and hears a woman whisper in his ear. "Psychic, eh? That's too bad. this is going to hurt a lot more, then."

He turns, and his motion is obviously enough to bypass the invisible attacker's assault, as the attack misses. He turns in time to see a half-elven woman, with strawberry blond hair and a full suit of leather armour, materialize out of the cloud of yellow smoke. She scowls at Shadow, and holds a rapier in both hands, keeping it between herself and the psion.

Shadow's astral construct appears behind a rogue, and quickly trips him, and starts tearing at the dark-clad attacker as he falls to the ground, leaving Guardian in a much better position. The rogue on the ground, though, is not dead, and is able to kick the construct away.

Haltash cuts the bonds of the prisoner, as so much chaos is going on around him. The raider nods with terror in his eyes, and then looks around wildly. the first thing he does when freed is dart away from the fray, hovering near the edges of battle, looking for a weapon.

Guardian's attack misses the rogue, but keeps the attacker on his toes.

Rukus positions himself behind the female attacker near Shadow, and tries to knock her over the head. But he is obviously too keyed up to concentrate on the attack, and it does nothing more than catch her attention

Inside the main office, you all hear the sounds of the remaining crewman coughing in the smoke, stumbling about. It is obvious he is trying to find a way out, and is already blinded in the thick yellow haze.
