Guardian offers a hand up to Shadow saying, "There was a sniper in that building there." He points to the building before readying his longbow again. "Stay close and use me for cover, should you need it." He moves over to Tondrek, helping him to his feet as well. He glances at the crying woman and moves two steps towards her before he stops himself, and moves with the group towards the monastery. There will be time to mourn the dead after the battle.

As they start out, Guardian calls out to the woman and points to the Majestic, "If you can get yourself to a rooftop, that ship might be able to pick you up and take you to safety."

"I see. Thank you. Well, at least I know how to make an entrance," comments the changeling, drawing his crossbow and loading it.

The woman runs up to Guardian, obviously in a panic. "Have you seen my little girl!? have you seen my girl!? she shrieks out.

The smoke bellows throughout this battlefield. The pit stretches out behind you, and T'Ranis clearly hears a few primal animalistic howls coming from that direction - and the sound of men shouting to one another in a panic. There is nothing that leads into the pit save a poorly-constructed wooden stair.

The town stretches up ahead of you, and you can clearly hear the shouts of the wounded, cries to companions, the roar of hungry flames, and the distressed cries for help.

"No Ma'am, I have not seen your little girl. What does she look like?" asks the telepath calmly, mentally preparing for the inevitable battle.

Tondrek finds his way to the warforged and the others, looking a bit scared himself. "C-can we go? D-dead bodies bad." He looks fearfully for a path to the monastery.

The continuing discussion allows T'Ranis to get a bit ahead of the others, which is fortunate since he can only move at half speed while sneaking.

With Lori charging after him ahead of the others, T'Ranis will pause and check from hiding to see if anyone seems about to target her. (Spot and Listen +7.)
