I watched the Packers-Redskins game and the officiating there was VERY heavy-handed. Heck each team had 10 penalties each in the early part of the 3rd Qtr. But since I dislike both teams it didn't matter.:D As for the Bucs I thinking more like 10-6 after today's showing:mad: Yet my Cardinals hand America's suckiest team another defeat always good! Finally count the Rams out:p

Jim who since he doesn't have a pro team in his state roots for the following in order Bucs, Jaguars, Cardinals

I've found the officials have done a pretty good job so far. In all the cases I have seen, I could understand them making the call. I don't necessarily AGREE with the call, but I understand!

The "no class" award for the week, IMO, goes to the Eagles fans at the Bucs-Eagles games. They cheered when Warren Sapp went down hurt (it sure wasn't the play... the volume rose noticeably when the TV showed Sapp on the ground). It was "just" an eye-gouge, but cheering an injury is not acceptable fan behavior in my book.

The Eagle players proved their mettle, though. They finally started scoring on the Bucs, and the Bucs offense stayed dead. Since the Bucs only fade late if it's <5 Celsius, I think they can go as high as 12-4 before losing to the Eagles in the playoffs again.

Yeah, I agree that the refs were a bit heavy-handed at the Redskins game. Maybe except for that one cute play where the receiver was about the catch the ball, until the corner back tried to rip his head off via the facemask. Whew... I'm not a big fan of either team, but that's the only game I could watch here, while my Raiders were getting beaten in overtime.

Even with Seau out for the game, we still couldn't beat 'em. Grumble, grumble. 4-2.

Go Packers!

What he said.

The locals (which would be the Chargers) are looking pretty good, but about the only good thing I got out of the three years I lived in Wisconsin was a healthy dose of Packers fandom.

Go Saints!

Last year was their 1st post season win.

This year... who knows?

Too bad they don't show more of their games up here in the Nor'East.
