Personally, I think this was just a typo on that character creation program, it was supposed to say warlock. WOTC just hasn't told us yet because of all the speculation

Then they said the Warlord was a leader and had someone talk about them in the playtest reports just to further muddy the waters..Stalker0 said:Personally, I think this was just a typo on that character creation program, it was supposed to say warlock. True, they didn't say that, so we don't KNOW how many will be in. We just have the one comment saying there will be 8 classes for sure in the PHB1 and that the only ones confirmed are Fighters, Wizards, Clerics, Rogues.breschau said:If you are referring to the roles video where James Wyatt explains the roles to Gamer_Zero, then no. There was no specifics on how many of each role, or power source, will make it into PH1.
The Warlock is easily the most popular class introduced in all of the "Complete x" series books. So many products published after Complete Arcane was released ended up having new material for the warlock because they were such a popular class.Thurbane said:Hmm, IMHO, the Warlock is far better suited as an optional class, rather than a "core" one...
Branduil said:If there are 8 classes in the PHB, it'll almost certainly be
Fighter
Rogue
Cleric
Wizard
Paladin
Ranger
Warlord
Warlock
I think the next likeliest classes are Druid and Barbarian, if they were to include any more.
Like Narfell?Banshee16 said:Very different....the whole empire of evil, demonic pacts thing wasn't there.
