I really like some parts of it, but other could be clearer.
Is the warlock primarily a "reality hacker" like has been talked about, or is his power ultimately based on the pact with a powerful entity?
If the idea behind it is to mechanically fit an AEDU system, and the way to do that is with the favors as encounter power, then the pact is the thing to focus on. It does this well. So focus on that fluff.
Instead they've put all this emphasis on the warlock being a "sage of forbidden lore," which is fluff that way too easily overlaps with that of the wizard.
