Warlock Lich?

To the best of my knowledge, the caster level of your spell-like abilities doesn't count as a real caster level.

Well, the lich requirements just say caster level, and I don't recall any errata that says you can't use spell-like ability caster level as caster level. Which, as I mentioned, is why I think they put in said requirements that you have to be able to cast spells.

Hmmm, I seem to recall rules for Psionic Liches in one of the books, which would imply that it is at least possible for a magic like power being useable, if needing a bit cof changing to create a new monster.

Two questions to ask, but bear in mind that I am not familiar with the class:

1.) Is there any reason that a Warlock lich would be game breaking?

2.) Is this for a PC or an NPC?

If it does not break the game I would say come up with rules for a variant liche. This will be easier for an NPC - even if you are wrong it won't be around long enough to mess up your game. :p

For PCs balance is a lot more crucial.
