Or an ability fueled by Ki points that adds INT to AC as a reaction, kind like the shield spell. Same ability could be granted to an ally (as a level up perhaps...)
If its Point fueled that affect others is definitely on the table.
That ought to include saving throws

Mantle of Inspiration could be a good model for the repositioning of allies. One Bardic die allows CHA in allies w/in 60 to move a full move with no opp attacks, plus some temp HP. That's a 3rd level ability. Could easily be done using the reskinned Ki points. It at least sets good bar for the resource cost of an ability like this.
That could be one of the primary base class uses of the points, for sure.

We need to name the points, and figure out what replacesMartial Arts. I like the “bonus action when you attack or grant an attack as part of the attack action, give an ally a +1d6 bonus to their next damage roll before the start of your next turn”.

my vote is that MA is replaced with something like Fighting Styles, with some kind of bonus when you use the Attack Action.

I’d say replace ki with Morale.

my wife says, replace Martial Arts with Marshall Arts.

Main Morale uses:

Spend 1 Morale as a Bonus Action when you take the Attack Action, to grant an ally with 30ft an attack as a Reaction, with a +1d6 bonus to the damage roll” (similar in power to Flurry of Blows)

Spend 1 Morale as a Bonus Action. Allies equal to your Intelligence mod can move up to their speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Spend 1 Morale as a Bonus Action to grant 1 ally a bonus to AC equal to your Int mod until the start of your next turn.

“ “ grant an enemy advantage on their next attack roll against you, and designate an ally for whom you are creating an opening. If the enemy makes an attack against you before the start of your next turn, the ally can make an attack against them as a Reaction.

Maybe INT to AC or prof a save to a save? Same ability just leveraging more directly the two mechanics in question. However, now that I think about it, both could indeed be based on Prof bonus because that bakes in scaling. Yeah, maybe option 2.

Edit - can we call them tactical points maybe?

Good point on prof bonus. Especially if we want to let different subclasses focus on different mental stats.

I really don’t want to call them points. Morale fits because it is a resource you draw upon both in the meta and in the fiction.

The +CHAmod Aura was to initiarive and DEX skills & checks (it did not include saves or attacks), and was available from first level - but, you only started with one Aura.
Right, but 4e was much more free with such things, and was a higher power level at level 1.

I’d rather see that in tier 2, or tone it way down at tier 1 and upgrade it over time.

Hmm, that extra attack is better than the monk's as it's whatever their normal attack is, but with extra damage. Perhaps it should be an extra attack that does that die in damage period, like the BA you get from Polearm Master, plus whatever appropriate stat. Maybe it's not too strong, but that's what first popped into into my head when I read the post above.

Gambits works, tactical points works, gambit points doesn't work. I like gambit actually. Spend one gambit to... or spend two gambits to... I like it.
