Warshaper and "Alter Self"

If a warshaper uses alter self does he gain the use of his warshaper abilites? Strictly speaking the "alternate form" requirement in the Warshaper text would suggest that this is the case, but what is the consensus?

If a high level druid (at will use of Alter self) is also a 5th level warshaper do they choose between the flashmorph and multimorph abilities?

Just some questions in regards to a possible druid build (and another sorcerer build) on which I am working.

In the prereq's of Warshaper, it tells you everything the Warshaper PrC can be applied to. I don't have the book with me, but if it's not on the list then it doesn't work.
