Was wondering if I could get a thread stickied?....

I am trying to regrow intrest in an old game that used to be played here.. You Bastard! and I've started up a rules page that I'd like anyone intrested to look at whenever they need to.... I was curious one.. who I'd need to speak to.. and two if this was even poissible... I'll provide a link to the thread I'm hoping to have stickied.. it's in 'Talking the Talk' if you feel it's better in another place.. PLEASE let me know

It can be done, but before that, you should know - threads that get stickied generally get less traffic than threads that are free floating.

If people need to find it easily, you might want to consider subscribing to the thread, rather than having it stickied.

it's not just to make it easier for ME to find it.. I'd like to keep it at the top to generate more intrest for it.. plus I've asked that no posting be done in there as well... and I'm afraid it'll get lost in the shuffle.... I had Knight Otu post recently that he'd missed the threads about YB intirely.. and they've been up nearly three weeks now... it's more to catch ones eye... have them look into it and if they wish to play I've linked the discussion thread into the thread I want stickied... no muss.... no fuss heh... I also asked him... him being Knight Otu about a sub forum for YB.. but he mentioned the only reason it had it in the first place was beacuse of the fact it bogged down the other PbP games going on in Playing the Game.... I'm not asking for that JUST yet.. I'd like to see how things go and what kinda of following I can muster for the rebirth of this game first.... heh... can you see I've thought this out a bit? heh

all in all.. yea.. if you could sticky the thread I linked above that'd be a HUGE help....

Sorry, Rathan. We only sticky threads when there's an overwhelming need for the thread to be visible to a large number of people, and there just doesn't seem to be enough momentum to do so right now. I know that this is something of a chicken and the egg situation, but the need always takes preference over creating a need.

I have no doubt that the superb PbP moderators will handle things if YB! games grow popular again.
