First Post
Myoko continued to stab at the ankheg with her spear, trying to punch through its hard carapace. She kept moving, shuffling her feet through the sand as she tried to keep the creature from landing another bite...

OOC: IC finally back up
Move: Shift to N12
Standard: Attack with Nimble Footwork (Encounter, +6 vs. AC= 9, miss); MISS means no shift afterwards for Myoko (or for Torqua, sorry); rolls http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2337568/
Minor: none (If anyone wants healing, try to let me know- this is my first time playing a Leader/healer in 4e)

Torqua's spells proves effective, dealing some good batter to the vermin. Myoko's move however proves not sufficiently accurate to damage the bug. On the other side of the pond, Frost cleaves his sword into the torax of the Ankheg, and it reacts snapping it's mandibles at him, but the fighter is too nimble to be catch.

With Frost on the other side of the enemy, Vardaal brings up his large blade and with a howl of delight brings it down on the ankheg. He slips somewhat in the sands though and his blow is less accurate than he would expect.

The creature engaging Myoko crawls quickly away and faces the killer of it's larvae, pointinh him out with it's moving mandibles. From it's mouth sprouts a spit of green substance that splashes over the barbarian. The acid eats and burst the helpless Kavac, who barely manages to take the substance off before it eats him hole.

[sblock=Llama_Bill] Actually, the Charge attack in 4e is only a +1 to attack, but there are no penalties to your defenses (unlike 3.0/3.5 where a charge gave you a +2 to attack, -2 to AC) [/sblock]
