Water Problems [DM: Voda Vosa; Judge: Kalidrev!]

OOC: Still no news about RickRoll... I'll NPC him for this round.

[sblock=Frost and Myoko]

The jadine maneuvers behind the shifter, as the swarm of centipedes crawl forward to Frost. As it gets close to him, Myoko stabs at the mass of contorting vermin, decimating a few, but granting Frost the opening he needs to connect as well, but only with one of his swords, cutting through some of the centipedes. However, as the shifter prepares his blades, some of the centipedes have already bit his feet, injecting a harmful toxin in his system! The centipedes swarm around the two mercenaries, biting and slashing with their sharp mandibles.

Centipede roll hits Frost, poisons him.
Swarm aura damages Frost and Myoko for 3 dmg.

[sblock=Torqua Vardaal and Kavac]
Torqua breathes an inferno over the vermin, and three of the larvae convolve as the fire consume them.
The fierce Vardaal strides forward and unleashes his fury over the Ankheg with a devastating slash. However, his next attempts to hurt it are ineffective, leaving him vulnerable.
The ankheg takes the chance, quickly moving backwards and showering Vardaal with pure acid! Ouch.
Kavac also lunches himself to the fray, but is unable to find his mark.
The remaining larvae crawls next to Vardaal and bites him with acidic efficiency.

One such attack depletes the ankheg’s acid supply for the rest of the
encounter. Once used, the ankheg can’t deal additional acid damage. An
ankheg does not use this ability unless it is desperate or frustrated.
It most often spits acid when bloodied or worse
Capture (melee basic) (standard; at-will)
+9 vs. AC; 1d6 damage. Hit: Target is grappled.
If the ankheg is damaged after grabbing its prey, it retreats backward
down its tunnel at its land speed (not its burrow speed), dragging the
victim with it. An ankheg’s burrow is completely dark, and the
character won’t be able to stand from prone due to the tunnel’s
dimensions. The ankheg will try to kill it’s prey biting it
repeatedly, which will cause an ongoing 5 dmgs while the prey is in
the burrow. It takes three successful athletics rolls (dc:20) to scape
from an ankheg burrow.

[sblock=DM/Myoko]
Frost growls in pain as the centipedes bite him, but manages a vicious blow with his short sword on a whole bunch of them. "Myoko, get back" the shifter says as he tries to draw their attention his way[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc Posting]
Reason I didn't go was because the swarm went first so I wanted to see what it did before I posted. One thing to note about my two-weapon attack, it must target different foes, so the second attack wouldn't happen.
[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
Move: Footwork Lure - vs ac; dmg (1d20 8=28, 1d6 6=12) crit for 12 damage (rolled max anyways...guess I should've taken the magic weapon lol) so after resistances damage is only 6.
Free: Mark swarm - anyone see Men In Black? Reminds me of Will Smith stepping on bugs to get the big bugs attention ;)
save (1d20=17) no more ongoing damage

[sblock= Frost, Myoko, GM] Myoko gritted her teeth, ignoring the minor wounds of the centipede swarm. She stabbed again with her spear, then stepped back away from the mass of bugs- this was going to take a while, it seemed. The enchanted spear bit deep into the swarm, skewering a number of the venomous creatures, and Myoko took advantage of the resulting chaos to step back out of the muddy ground...

OOC: Remember Frost got a +2 to hit and damage on the previous round attack. Attack with Nimble Footwork (encounter), +7 vs. AC= 27 (CRIT!), damage 2d8+5 (maxed= 21), +1d6 crit (+1 magic spear= 5)= 26 total, halved = 13 damage; Attack roll Roll Lookup ; additional crit roll Roll Lookup ; then shift one square away from swarm (out of DT); also, Frost can shift 1 square as a free action. If you need healing, let me know. [/sblock]

[sblock=Torqua Vardaal Kavac and DM]
The acid burns on Vardaal stung mightily and he let out a howl of rage, but his blow was terribly ineffective as the pain sent his attack stray.

[sblock=Torqua Vardaal Kavac and DM] Trying to get the giant maggot off her Bugbear buddy's back, Torqua summons an orb of acid and throws it at the monster with pinpoint accuracy, turning the bug into a pile of goo.

[sblock=Frost and Myoko]

With an impresive display of skill, both warriors keep the centipede mass at the defensive, although their efforts don't pay well enough, as the swarm of bugs crawl over them, biting with their poisonous mandibles. Frost ffeels again the known sensation of the vermin's toxin in his system.

[sblock=Torqua Vardaal and Kavac]

Frost primal nature takes over as he lets his wild side out. This shifter continues to stab at the many centipedes running around. His weapon is certainly ill-suited to this task, "Why didn't I bring a hammer" he laments
