Ways to "force" opponent(s) to attack you

Looking for ways to either force or encourage opponents to attack you, other than the standard Marking. Either a power, feat or class feature?

For example, Divine Challenge and the Swordmage Aegis strongly encourages an opponent to attack you, even beyond the Mark they give.

Ideally I would like a way to force an opponent to attack you, but I'll accept ways to "strongly encourage" them as well :)

any particular class you're referring to?

But, I think, the default answer really is -- position yourself to be the most tactically favorable target for enemies -- i.e. you are standing closest or your allies are behind cover so less penalties to hit you, etc.

Or plot wise -- carry the thing everyone wants (aka the artifact that the skeletal warriors are guardings, etc).

Or meta methods -- keep mocking the DM until he has to roll attacks against you just out of spiteful humor ("bah, your ogres can never hit me and my AC 25!")

While not a low level power, Restricting Smite (Paladin 27) does a good job of it - it marks the opponent, but more importantly, they lose all Line of Effect to all other creatures. Which doesn't make them attack you, but makes it basically impossible for them to attack anyone else.

Similar approaches at lower level may rely on various Wall spells or the like to make it hard for an enemy to get to anyone else (or simply immobilizing them, etc.)

I suggest killing his wife, or at the very least, kidnapping the princess of his kingdom.

If those don't work, make fun of his manhood. Use words like 'small'.

Daze them and be their only adjacent enemy. They can't move and attack except by charging, so if they want to use any of their non-basic attack powers, they need to attack you.

To "encourage"

Group Defense feat for Half-Elf Paladin give your allies +1 bonus to all defenses against creatures marked by you. And there are other race and/or class specific feats which increase the penalty when the marked opponent makes an attack which does not includes the marker as a target. Maybe you can combine several of them via hybrid or multiclassing.

Not a lot of ways to force an enemy to attack you. Bravura Warlords have a few tools I think, like Provoke Overextension.

All defenders have some way to encourage enemies to attack them, in addition to the basic -2 penalty from the mark. I'm not sure what kind of answer you're seeking there, but Fighters and Wardens are certainly no worse than Paladins and Swordmages in that encouragement department.

Barbarians can be pretty good at encouraging enemies to hit them. Multiclass something like warden, charge with Reckless Charge, mark a bunch of people around you, then action point and smack one with Avalanche Strike. The threat of the damage you do, and your dismal defense coupled with the mark penalty to attack others will make you the best possible target for a turn.

Protector Shamans make awesome enemy magnets. Heal 2 people for a bunch of damage, then walk up to an enemy and stick out your tongue. They'll gladly wallop your low AC leader.

Rogues are experts at making enemies attack them. Slink between enemy lines, sneak attack an enemy for oodles of damage, and watch them pounce on you.

Really if you're trying to be attacked, it's not that hard. So what exactly is your real objective?
