Doc - you said you knew and did the cover for at least on of the touchtone terrorists' CD's. i just saw their call on "crank yankers" on sunday and was laughing my a$$ off all night.....

but i have a question. how did they get that lady to call them? if you recall, they said they were workers at UPS (i think). did they just improvise when a wrong number was dialed or was it somehow manipulated.

They... well, it's one guy, so HE... had a number that was one digit off from the UPS number. If I remember correctly, he decided to start messing with the customers because he was sick of their calls. I may be mistaken.

Since then, he had a great number of people forwarding calls to him. He had someone working in American Express (again, if I remember correctly) who got fired for forwarding calls to him. That's actually how I came to meet him- at an old job, people were mistakenly calling us for the Amherst Housing Authority. We got a hold of him and he said yeah, he'd love for us to forward those calls to him. We also got him to prank our boss. I should get him to prank Piratecat...

Eventually, UPS tried to sue based on that the customers obviously thought they were calling UPS.
