We might be getting a new puppy!

Buttercup

Princess of Florin
As you may know, we had to put our beloved dog Sprocket down on April 14th, because she developed a severe seizure disorder.

Although we still miss her, and will always love her, we can't stand not having a dog around the house. So on May 16th we're going to meet a puppy. If we like him, and he likes us, we'll be bringing him home!

I'm attaching some pictures of him. In the pic with his litter mates, he's the one on the left.

Cats are aloof, untrainable bundles of allergens.

I love pooches. Big pooches, little pooches, in-between pooches. Especially hunting dogs. I don't hunt, but gun dogs all have a certain eagerness to please and enthusiasm in their personalities that I find irresistable.

The only problem I have with puppies is the chewing of various objects like socks and plastic bags. I came home one day to find all of my Super Nintendo cords chewed through.

But that is why you crate train your puppy. It helps with house training, because a dog will not willingly foul their den, and it keeps them from wandering around the house chewing up your stuff.
