Weapon, weapon, who's got the weapon?

My upcoming Gnome ranger is going to weild either a halfspear, a scimitar or a battle pick, I'm quite sure I'm going to use a battle pick. But I wan to make sure I'm not being a fool. On the weapons.

Also what enchantments should I look for(In the FR as a gnomish ranger)?

It's from MotW, place it on the weapon you use to kill your favorite enemies, it double the favorite enemy bonus to damage.

Keen is an obvious choice, especially for a pick.

Bane vs. Dragons
If you want an elemental damage, go Sonic, or for quiet, go Acid. Lightning, Cold, Fire, in order of importance.

In that order of importance, add to taste. I'm unfamiliar with the Hunting enhancement. Sounds good, though.
