Everybody was COAT-RACK fighting!

Hat-racks as fast as lightning!

(That's more than) a little bit frightening... :p

I recently learned that some players are apparently attracted to character death. I pitched some gamers of my acquaintance an idea for a (I thought) really exciting mystery/ horror D&D game. No interest whatsoever. Then I said, how about I run a game inspired by (Contact's) Temple of Elemental Evil 2. You’ll get to try out lots of different character concepts because I’ll be killing your characters as fast as I possibly can. They jumped on it immediately.

Go figure.

Dire weasels. Players love dire weasels.

I have a player who still won't believe me that these exist. I first mentioned them in passing soon after 3e came out and she thought they were the funniest two words she had heard in months. Everytime I bring up the subject again she thinks that I'm trying to scam her -- and she's too smart to fall for that.

She's also too old-school to look inside a Monster Manual.

Oh well. I know I can convince her that coat racks exist.

Cheers.
