Kickin' It Old-School

:1: I'd love to see some of the monsters from The Isle of Dread...particularly the aranea, phanaton, and kopru. That vast catalog of dinosaurs (allosaurus, ankylosaurus, brontosaurus, dimetrodon, giant elk, gangeri, megatherium, phororhacos, plesiosaurus, trachodon...) would be awesome to have as well. And let's not forget that giant oyster.

:2: I'd also love to have the monsters from the Desert Nomads series of modules, too. Bhuts, nagpas, dusanu, tabi, mujinas, and geonids especially.

:3: I'd love to see a more simplified system for mass combat. I'm thinking about something like those in the Rules Cyclopedia...something much less complicated than Chainmail, which doesn't need fifty square feet of table space and a boxcar full of minis. You know, something that I can run the second half of Test of the Warlords with, and still be playing D&D.

:4: The Malakaz (my favorite non-combat encounter of all time.)

:5: Oh yeah, another monster: the Hivebrood.

:6: Intelligent magical items that don't suck. Blackrazor, for example.

The aurumvorax. Nothin says loving like 500 lb, eight-legged, pissed off weasel. That, and it was my first character's animal companion. Good memories.
