I went through a period of insanity where I had delusions of a bizarre and persecutory nature and the above was part of it. The delusion was that there were two groups which were running things behind the world scene, one group that was good and one that was evil. And apparently because of some perceived offense, the evil group had achieved a dominant position in their negotiations with the good group and knowing me to be a weak-willed person decided to put me through a test of my will-power and every time I failed they would gain some advantage over the good group in exchange for sparing my soul. And which I was in this imaginary world, one of the members of the good group looked at me when I was curious what they were doing sitting at the negotiating table and said to me “we’re bargaining over your soul.” And of course the evil group tried to get everything they could out of the deal. I thought I post it here because I thought it very interesting and thought it could even be turned into a campaign idea.
