I have yet to read that particular supplement but I do have some issues with Bretonnia as it was presented in WFB and WFRG 2e. The stark differences between the Empire and Bretonnia always created a disconnect for me. I much preferred the decadent, darker "French Renaissance" feel of WFRG 1e. I was always an Empire player when it came to WFB and Mordheim, so I will admit I wanted something that fit with the general Renaissance theme the world presented. Presenting Bretonnia as it appears in WFB is an immediate turn off for me, which is why I have never taken the time to pick up the book.
But that is a very personal opinion, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. For some reason, the wild wood elves and Tolkien inspired High Elves never bothered me when compared to the Empire, so all of that could be absolutely irrational.
